What is LEED?

LEED is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. A Green Building Rating System™ has been developed to standardize tools and performance criteria. This third–party certification program gives building owners and developers performance measures in key areas of environmental health. It is difficult to give a complete definition of what makes a product green because there are many attributes that can make a product green including, but not limited to sustainable site development, materials selection, water savings, energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality.
